Her coaching philosophy is aimed to achieve a training structure where the coach and the student value the strengths and the skills through playing.

The motto here is “Play to learn rather than learn to play.” By being in a constant state of learning we will together accelerate the process of skills acquisition.

I qualified from the PGA in 2016, finishing 2nd in the country of all graduates.

Coaching is an absolute passion of mine, I coach anyone from juniors, ladies, social golfers right through to the more Elite Players. I have been fortunate to work with players like Lee-Anne Pace(RSA) and Caddied for Katie Burnett(USA) on the LPGA and LET international Tours.

When I am not coaching I love to play and still compete on the Ladies Sunshine Tour.

My name is Tandi Mc Callum and I have been playing golf for a total of 26 years as of September 2026.

Together with competing internationally and locally (17 years), I have been teaching for the past 17 years.

Through years of being in the golf industry I have accumulated a wonderful network of corporate business contacts, influential business individuals and friends. I have been actively involved in the promotion and growth of the Professional game of golf for both men and woman through being a part of the PGA of SA, coaching, playing and commentary.

I am still an active competitor playing on the Sunshine Ladies Tour with my best Order of Merit finish of 2nd in the 2018 season.

Commentator for SuperSport:

Since 2020 I have been involved with the SuperSport Golf Production team doing on course and in the box commentary for the Sunshine Men’s, DP World Tour, Hotel Planner Tour (formerly known as the Challenge Tour) and Sunshine Ladies Tour events.

This gives me a great opportunity to provide insight to viewers of the game about the inner workings of what happens inside the ropes between caddy and player while also providing a platform to promote the players and the game of golf itself.

Lastly and by no means least, I am a qualified PGA of South Africa member and a mom to my 6-year-old son Ethan and have been married for 10 years to David, both who have been crucial to my success and support throughout all my golfer ventures.

Ladies European Tour member and member of the SA Women’s PGA, Lana carries a wealth of experience in both tournament play and teaching.

Lana was the No. 1 amateur in Belgium in the early 90’s and has several international top 10 finishes in Europe to her name.

Lana has played in the European Ladies Tour 1990’s, won the Omnium of Belgium and 7th World Championship at Golf National Paris.

Won in England, and finished second on 3 other occasions during her first year on the European Tour. Ended the year 5th on the money list.
