JOHANNESBURG, 17 February 2026 – The Sunshine Ladies Tour has announced the renewal of its partnership with Konica Minolta South Africa (KMSA) for a third consecutive year, reinforcing a shared commitment to strengthening women’s professional golf in South Africa.

The renewed partnership builds on two successful seasons in which the Tour has expanded its local and international profile, creating competitive opportunities for both established players and emerging talent.

“Having Konica Minolta South Africa renew their partnership is a strong endorsement of the Sunshine Ladies Tour and the positive direction of women’s golf in South Africa,” said Thomas Abt, Commissioner of the Sunshine Tour and speaking on behalf of the Sunshine Ladies Tour. “Sustained partnerships like this are essential to the long-term success of the Tour and to creating an environment where women golfers can build meaningful professional careers.”

Konica Minolta South Africa’s continued support contributes to increased prize money across the Sunshine Ladies Tour schedule and includes the provision of office technology and solutions for flagship events such as the Joburg Ladies Open and the Investec South African Women’s Open, both co-sanctioned with the Ladies European Tour.

“Women’s sport thrives when there is consistent, long-term support,” said Marc Pillay, CEO of Konica Minolta South Africa. “This partnership is about creating real opportunities and contributing to a platform where women athletes can compete and excel on the global stage.”

The partnership aligns with the Sunshine Ladies Tour’s mission to advance women’s golf, expand access to professional pathways and position South Africa as a leading destination for women’s professional golf.

Through strong broadcast and media exposure, the Sunshine Ladies Tour continues to play a vital role in developing the women’s game and creating pathways to international competition and career progression.
